Thank you for your interest in our classes. Below is a list of FAQs relating to our monthly plan option.
Why does the monthly plan benefit me?
- You receive a 5% discount when opting for the monthly plan compared to paying in full in advance of the course.
- You get to spread the payment of the course on a monthly basis.
- We save your precious admin time! We have a comprehensive developmental journey at Basking Babies and when you're signed up to monthly plans with us we book you into your chosen follow-on courses so you don't need to worry about a thing.
Will I end up paying more overall?
No! Your monthly amount has been calculated based on the weeks that classes are running throughout the year and then spreading the total amount (with a 10% discount) on a monthly basis.
When you eventually come to cancel your monthly plan, if there is any discrepancy between what you have paid and what you should have paid, this will be calculated by the system. If you've paid too much your account will automatically be credited. If you've not paid enough, there will be a small balance to settle. So you always have total peace of mind that you'll pay the correct amount overall.
How do I cancel my monthly plan?
You can cancel your monthly plan at any point by logging into your account with us. Login to your customer portal, navigate to 'my classes', click 'view' on your class and then click 'cancel this plan'.
There's a 30-day notice period, so please make sure that you cancel your plan 30 days before you want to finish classes with us. NB you are able to cancel prior to the 30 day period and select the classes that you want to attend that go beyond 30 days from the point of cancellation (the system will automatically do the calculations so you end up paying the correct amount for classes attended overall). If you have any trouble at all trying to cancel the plan yourself please let your instructor know so that they can help you.
How does the deposit I've paid work?
When signing up for the monthly plan you are required to make an initial payment. This payment includes a month's deposit (which is credited back to you when you cancel your plan) and a pro-rata charge for lessons between the start date of your plan and your first monthly payment. You would have been shown the breakdown of the deposit, pro-rata payment and the monthly payments thereafter at the time of booking.
What happens if there is a holiday period, will I still pay monthly?
If there are no classes running in August for instance you would still make a payment in August through your monthly plan. The system calculates everything to ensure that you only pay the right (well, discounted!) amount for the classes you have attended - so it just means that you will have paid less per month in previous months when you were attending classes as you signed up for the privilege of spreading the cost on a monthly basis. Also, remember that if there is ever a discrepancy between the amount you have paid and what you should have paid based on the classes you have attended, this would be calculated by the system when you cancel your monthly plan.
Once I have finished the class I originally signed up for how do I book onto the next one?
Your instructor will ask you in class which class you would like to join as your follow on class and you will then be moved onto the correct class on the system. There is nothing for you to do as you will continue to make monthly payments through your monthly plan (which may change in price depending on the price of the next course).
